Financial Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • performing functions of accountant of Turkish legal entities
  • reporting to the Mother company according corporate policy on monthly basis
  • functional reporting to Global CFO
  • assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws
  • control of all accounting areas
  • responsible for preparation for monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • payroll preparation including preparing of the labor contract
  • assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations
  • coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
  • manage daily relationship with current accounting and payroll providers
  • manage the link with the company auditor and coordinate the preparation of financial documents and procedures
  • administrative reporting to Country CEO
  • ensuring connection and coordination with Country CEO on financial matters
  • provision of regular financial reports to Country CEO
  • responsible for all admin tasks, including new employee onboarding, within the organization, and at external levels (Budotek, SGK, and other state authorities)
  • responsible from sourcing activities for the needs of local organization
  • communication with Budotek management, monthly reporting
  • manage day-to-day accounting tasks – initial data input and other current tasks

Requirements and Professional Qualifications:

  • strong knowledge of the key local tax and accounting laws
  • at least 5 years’ experience in local accounting
  • experience in an international company is a PLUS
  • fluent English
  • good skills in MS Office
  • good communication skills
  • teamwork and cooperation

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
